One of the really great but under-utilized benefits we offer at OneWorld Community Health Center is our Employee Assistance Program. This is a service offered through Alegent Health here in Omaha. All of our employees have full free access to all of the services that the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) has to offer. The services include but are not limited to:
Consultation Services
Legal Services
Financial Services
Critical Incident Stress Debriefing
Grief Counseling
This program provides assessment, short-term counseling, referral to appropriate community resources and ongoing follow-up.
OneWorld pays the exact same amount each year whether we use this service or not. It is anonymous and nobody at OneWorld even needs to know about it. The phone number is 402-398-5566. If you are unsure if they can help you with the specific issue you are having, give them a call and ask about it. Everyone needs someone to talk to once in a while and this is a great resource for that. Or you could just get your own blog and work on your issues that way.
