Throw Pillows!#@$*&!

They say that after you live with a dog long enough you may start to look like each other or act like each other. If there is one thing that Oscar and I have in common (besides our love of snacking in between meals) it's our mutual dislike of, and confusion by, throw pillows. They aren't quite comfortable enough to use but we know we aren't supposed to throw them on the floor in disgust. Any ideas on what to do with our throw pillows?

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a happy Veteran’s Day. Several members of the OneWorld family have served in the armed forces during their careers as well as many of you have family members who are currently serving. OneWorld’s former service members are:

Charity Jam Session - Get your tickets while they are still available

Join us this Sunday, June 13 from 5 to 9 p.m. for the First Annual Charity Jam Session at Arthur's 4-Seasons at 114th and Davenport Streets. Several local musicians (including members of Bittersweet, Bozak & Morrissey, Every Wednesday, Persuaders, 808 Bank, Avaricious and others) are scheduled to perform.

Funds raised from the Charity Jam Session supports the "Every Baby Matters" program at OneWorld Community Health Centers, Inc.

Poncho's Big Adventure

Our cat Poncho doesn't like to ride in the car at all. He hates it so much that when a new vet opened up near our house we switched so that the ride would be shorter. Attached is a picture of him and the only place he will now ride in the car without hissing and foaming at the mouth for the entire trip. And yes, that is a leash that he has on. I'll save that story for another day.

New Family Member

Anne O'Hara welcomed a new family member, Amelie, recently. Mother, father, and baby are all home and doing well. Congratulations Anne!
